The Pokemon RP

Melonie bows her head and takes the oran berry gratefully." I am ra-rather sorry about my outburst." She said softly." I know you all are going through quite a lot as well. " She took a few deep breaths and gave the oran berry to her goomy before picking the pokemon up." After a little bit of thought she smiled." I ..would rather go ahead and get this meeting at the castle over with before sleeping. Otherwise I will be too anxious to actually go to sleep.." She rubbed the back of her head." However if it's too much trouble to take me to the castle I can go to the inn. " She nuzzles her goomy gently." I just don't want to go to the inn and have whoever is in charge be angry that I didn't visit."

[Drack]

Melonie:

The two guards look at each other as you apologize with the one with the Hoothoot speaking up. "Um, it's alright we are under alot of pressure right now so we overreacted as well, and it's really alright if you go to the inn first, we can give a report to Sir Kanbei and you can see him in the morning. He's probably busy with strategy meetings anyways so I think it would be the best. You said you were tired and hungry right? We will cover you're meal for you for our apology."

Marco claps his hands together. "At any rate, the Inn is on the way to the castle so you can decide on the way. I'll keep watch here if you want to escort her through the village." The two guards nod the other one motions for you to follow him.

If you follow him, you can see the streets are quiet with no one out except for a few patrolling guards and most of the buildings have been recently damaged and patched up. The guard then speaks again. "S-so, it's pretty obvious your not from around here, so if you don't mind me asking....where ARE you from?"


Gabriel:

Roy nods. "Thank you, I shall keep that in mind for the future. I think Asmund's team will win as well they seem to have a plan in tow."

As the battle wraps up and ends with Asmunds team winning Peter speaks up. "Oh wow that was a pretty sound win, looks like they will be the team you'll be facing Graham, you think you can win?" He asks.

Graham crosses his arms. "It's going to be tough, but I think my will be able to overcome and win." He says confidently.

Zelos and Jack then make their way back to the sidelines and the two walk over to you. "Wow, that was a real shame...Cassandra played us like a fiddle." Zelos says with a laugh.

Asmund and Gabriel:

Beldum follows your command and strikes Murkrow damaging it. (-10 Hp). Cassandra then goes last. "Well said Asmund, now we shall do our part and go beyond as well...Riolu use Counter and return Doduo's power back at it!" Now you notice the small blue Pokemon has used the dust and confusion of the battle to charge a small blue ball of energy from one of it's hands in secret, now flinging it at the foe Doduo who it and it's trainer are completely taken aback by as it strikes directly doubling the damage that was inflicted on Riolu knocking Doduo out (-48 Hp).

The turn ends and Beldum, Riolu, and Minccino all gain 211 experience each, Beldum reaching level 8 and Riolu reaching level 10. Mia then speaks up. "Woah, what an epic first turn, Doduo and Lotad are unable to continue lets take a moment to get them off the battlefield." There is a pause in the battle as some of the other guards help Zelos and Jack get their Pokemon off the field and start healing them up. "So Yuri you're on you own now do you want to give up?" Mia asks.

Yuri looks to her partner for a moment before speaking. "No, we can't give in when things look bad we have to keep pushing to get stronger like everyone else here." The Skywing warrior says defiantly.

The next turn begins but this time Cassandra and Riolu go first. "Heh, Riolu has a few moves that change his Speed stat. This one I think you all are more familiar with. Use Bullet Punch!" She then activates her Warrior skill Rally raising Riolu, Beldum, and Minccion's Attack one stage for 3 turns. The fighting Pokemon charges forward and blasts Murkrow with a barrage of strikes (-9 Hp).

Yuri then goes next. "Tch, I should of figured you had more planned Cassandra. Sorry to do this but I have to get stronger as well. Murkrow finish off Riolu with Peck." Murkrow swoops down and strikes Riolu with it's beak knocking it out (-24 Hp).

Dorothy's turn is next. "Alright, time to finish this Minccino use Double Slap on Murkrow and end this." Miniccino charges foward and strikes Murkrow with it's tail hitting it 5 times in total knocking it out and ending the battle. (-30 hp).

The battle ends and Minccion and Beldum gain 106 experience each and Murkrow gains 195 experience.

Nate:

Edea sips her glass of milk as you talk about smells and how bad the barracks are going smell. "Wait, you think all our guards smell? We built a bathhouse...everyone works hard on proper hygiene." She says in an almost heartbroken tone.

"Oh, you know Nate jokes all the time. He's just teasing...RIGHT Nate!?" Ashley says with a nervous laugh as you feel a sharp kick in your shin.

Edea tilts her head. "Oh...I guess I'm not really used to that kind of comedy."

Victor sips his tea. "At any rate, I imagine we can ask for our stuff to be brought to us....or I sure when they realized they were going to move us they moved our things as well."

Heather comes back out. "Alright, we are working on everyone's meals right now, they will be done shortly. Is there anything I can do for any of you?"

[Heero]

Gabriel claps to congratulate the winning team as the Zelos and co come over, "yeah that minccino is one strong poke'mon, that double slap is a doozy. but it was a good show." "Good luck Graham watch out for that minccino."

[Nexous]

I kind of cock my head at Edea's response. "Guards? What do their hygiene have to do with anything? As it stood we were the only royals at the bath. There were a few that went there as we left, but then there are the ones who went to train. Sweat on top of sweat, and they may choose to sleep in their... OW" I trail off as I'm kicked. "What?! I doubt the... a curtain someone even bathes regularly as it is... Further, this may come as a shock to you ladies, but men do this thing... it's called passing gas. My mother says that it is just concentrated vulgarness of men, and ladies simply do not do it. Not being men yourselves I can understand how you would be unaware of these atrocities." As Victor suggests that our stuff may already be there I breathe a sigh of relief. "I had not even thought of that." When heather comes back out and asks if we need anything else I set, and ponder for a moment before sheepishly raising my hand. "I know I have troubled you enough as it is, but could I ask you to make a camomile tea, with lavender, and lemon balm to be brought out after the meal?"

[Creator_Drake]

He felt the rush fade as the battle ended, breathing out slowly. When Beldum slowly turned to look at him, Asmund gave a pleasant smile, proud for its accomplishment. It then floated close to Riolu's unconscious form and for a quick moment Asmund felt sad that the little jackal couldn't share their victory but pushed it away. In his eyes Riolu and Cassandra had proven their worth.

He walked over and gently picked up its small blue form, holding it as if a babe but respectful. Standing to look at the girl of Steelfist she would see his eyes shine with respect as he walked towards her, Beldum floating to the side. He held Riolu before him so Cassandra could take it, smiling wide.

"Forgive my lack of decorum, Lady Cassandra but young Riolu showed both grit and great honor this day. Helping shoulder such a young warrior is an honor for any Metalnian, both of you performed admirably against Jack and Doduo, tis worthy of pride." His eyes softened a tad, voice quieting.

"And I'm sure your parents would feel even greater pride in how their daughter battled." His eyes returned to normal as he looked at Dorothy. "We can't forget the Palette warrior that joined us as well. Your strength helped us a great deal, and I for one would always welcome such a warrior to fight beside."

He turned back to Cassandra. "The same I extend to you and Riolu as well. We still have one more bout, let us heal and win one more. What say you milady? Ready to show more of that Steelfist spirit?"

Melonie looked relieved to hear that maybe she could get a meal and some rest first, though she DID want to take care of business the young lady was a lot more tired than she had realized at first." Hmm perhaps..just to the inn then.. as anxious as I am to get things done I am pretty tired." She pets her goomy gently. Her eyes wandered as she walked with the guards at the inquiry about her home country the girl's expression went from a tired smile to a bit of a sad frown." Erm.. I am from Kalos." She said softly." Things aren't ..going so well right now so.. i had to come to this country to seek refuge." She whispers softly.

[Drack]

Melonie:

"Hm, Kalos you say...that's quite the long trip. Things must be pretty bad over there for you to run all the way to the Aurora region to hide out. Anyways, as you can see we are currently going through our own issues here at the moment, so it makes me wonder if they are related perhaps." The guard says the both of you walk down the empty streets of Palette.

After some time the guard stops in front of a large rustic building with a sign hanging next to the door that reads "The Merry Blissey". You can see the lights inside are still on and can hear voices from inside. "Well, this the best place to rest up in town...all of it's foods are made from the berries and goods farmed right here in Palette." The guard says cheerfully. "I'll stay here to help clear up any possible confusion like before, after that though I will have to run back to my post." He says walking up to the front door and opening it for you. Inside you see a group of six warrior gathered together eating at a large table.

One is a tall thin girl with blue eyes and blonde hair with a red feather woven in, and wearing jet black leather armor sitting next to a Sneasel. On is a athletic looking boy wearing green and purple simple clothes sitting next to a Spinarak. Next is a young boy with brown hair wearing heavy bronze armor sitting next to an Aron. Next is a girl with dark brown hair and green eyes wearing warm fur clothes sitting with a Swinub, next is a young girl with blond hair and blue eyes with a Whismur in her lap, and finally there is a young boy with jet black spiked hair with purple eyes wearing padded armor, with dark red cape sitting without a Pokemon.

The guard then stands at attention. "Princess Edea, I didn't expect you here...this girl is from the Kalos region seeking refuge."

The girl with the Whismur perks up. "Oh, wow...I've never heard of that place. Well you're welcome to sit with us if you want and tells us all about it."

Asmund:

After your victory there is a bittersweet look on Cassandra's face for a moment as she looks down at her unconscious partner. When you pick up Riolu and comfort her a smile forms on her face as she takes her friend and holds him carefully. "Thank you." She says softly and gives you and Dorothy a bow.

"Ha, that was some pretty impressive work from everyone, we make a pretty good team. If we keep this momentum up there is no way we can lose in the final match." Dorothy says returning Cassandra's bow with a quick one of her own.

Cassandra's face brightens and she nods "Yes, we still have one more match ahead of us so lets return to the sidelines and get Riolu and Beldum patched up, and to hear Annette's thoughts on the battle."

Gabriel:

Graham nods as you mention the Minccino. "Yes, that warrior...Dorothy is quite more skilled than she lets on, but I think my team will still win in the end. This event has been quite helpful with my notes on battle." He says as he watches the teams make their way back to the sidelines.

Zelos yawns. "Yeah, they had us outmatched from the start just like in your battle. I was hoping to get a bit more experience for Lotad but we ended up just slowing down our team." He huffs speaking softly to himself. "I hate to say it, but I will have to do my own training tomorrow to close the gap."

Asmund and Gabriel:

Once everyone has returned to the sidelines the other guards start passing around healing supplies to all the wounded Pokemon to get everyone back to full strength. As that is happening Annette speaks up. "That last match was certainly exciting, it goes to show how proper planning change the tide of battle, but everyone involved showed good effort. I would like to take the time to praise Lady Cassandra though." She pauses for a moment as the crowd of guards and heirs look to the Steelfist warrior. "You showed a great talent in your battle, the fact that you were able to divert your opponents attention into changing their attack plans was genius, and not a skill that can be trained. Now, with only the final match left I thought I would give the final two teams a chance to rest for the night and resume this final bout in the morning."

Nate:

There is a slight pause as you argue your point, until Maru nearly chokes on his tea as you mention passing gas. "I-I hate to be the one to break the news to you...but that is something everyone does." There is a moment of silence as everyone at the table nods in agreement."

After a bit Heather returns with everyone's food and when you ask for camomile tea she nods writing it down. "Um, I'm not sure if we have everything on hand for that but I can try." She says cheerfully as she goes behind the bar and starts working on it. Everyone at the table is now eating silently focused on their food. After a bit you hear the door open and look to see a Palette guard partnered with a Hoothoot walking in escorting a girl carrying a small pink and gold gooey creature wearing a ribbon.

The guard then stands at attention. "Princess Edea, I didn't expect you here...this girl is from the Kalos region seeking refuge."

Edea then perks up. "Oh, wow...I've never heard of that place. Well you're welcome to sit with us if you want and tells us all about it."

[Creator_Drake]

He returned Cassandra's bow with a respectful nod before walking with the two women to gather with the others. He smiled at the praise the Steelfist heir received, lightly bumping her arm with an elbow and giving her a confident smile. Listening further Asmund looked to the dark sky above, noting the time of night. Nodding to himself he coughed into a fist.

"Considering the time of night and how some of us might be feeling I'd agree with Lady Annette." Raising a fist he stopped a yawn of his own. Giving Annette a nod with a smile before continuing.

"Not only would it give us all a good rest but each team can meet up for the final bout tomorrow and strategize. What does everyone else think?"

[Nexous]

(Sorry, this weekend was madness)
As everyone confirms that everyone, even women, pass gas Nate eyes widen. "What? No... wait what?" He says seemingly stunned by this new revelation. He remains largely silent mulling over this new world shattering knowledge when the door opens. Upon seeing the new guest, and her mad styling matching her partner his trance is broken, and his existential crisis forgotten.
"Greetings, callous? I think I may have one of those on my foot from today." I say in jest. "I have never seen one of your pokemon before. As cute as it is, and judging by it's coloration. Might she be a fairy type?"

[ThePurpleUsagi]

The girl sighs softly." Things are quite difficult there right now, I came here to hide until everything blows over but I had no idea I'd be thrust right back into a war zone." She shivers some. Her goomy makes a few happy goo noises as she looks around the inn. The girl giggles and hugs her goomy tight." Despite everything Honeydew is still a happy little thing." She bows her head to the guard." Thank you for all of your help. I appreciate you."

It was then that she turned her attention to Edea." Greetings! I did not mean to interrupt your gathering." She sits down with the group sort of hugging her goomy like a pillow. The slimey dragon pokemon seemed happy even when it was being squeezed so tight. " My home country is absolutely beautiful with fields of flowers and all kinds of wonderful structures to look at." She sighs." It's even shaped like a star!" The girl pauses as she listens to Nate." Um no not callous KAL OS.. it's a country." She scratches her cheek the joke flew right over her head. " Oh Honeydew isn't a fairy type she's a dragon! Goomy is what her species is called. But she's adorable just like the fairy types back home! We have a lot of fairy type pokemon some are adorable and some are a bit strange."

The goomy puffs up a bit feeling rather proud. " GOO!"

[Nexous]

"Dragon type..." I say kind of trailing off. "Well, hopefully you and I get along better than the Dragon prince. You said fairy type are cute so you're off to a better start! My name is Nate, it's nice to meet you... are you sure you're not in fact a fairy pokemon?"

[ThePurpleUsagi]

She giggles softly." My name is Melonie. Where I am from there are lots of cute fairy pokemon." She snuggles with her goomy." It'd be neat to be a fairy pokemon but I love my little honeydew! It's a pleasure to meet you! I sure hope we get along.. I would hate to make any more bad impressions today." She said in an embarrassed tone.

[Heero]

Hearing that the battle will continue tomorrow gabriel yawns and stretches, "well i don't know about you guys but im pretty hungry so i'm gonna head back to the castle to get my chow on."

[Drack]

Melonie and Nate:

The guard salutes Edea after Melonie starts describing Kalos. "I must be going back to my post now Princess, stay safe everyone." He says turning around and walking right out of the Inn.

The girl with a Sneasel for a partner sighs shaking her head as Nate insists that Melonie's partner is a Fairy type. "It's typing is rather irrelevant at the moment, but I am inclined to believe the Pokemon's own trainer. Anyways your homeland Kalos right? Does sound quite lovely I would like to hear more about it, and you."

The heavily armored boy finishes his tea. "Well, first I think we should all properly introduce ourselves to our new companion. I shall start first..." He says clearing his throat. "I am Price Victor Geo of the Orris Kingdom here in the land of Aurora, and this is my partner Aron." He says as he points down to the tiny armored Pokemon sitting down on the floor.

The silver haired girl frowns at Victor. "That wasn't very polite, this is Edea's homeland so you should of let her go first..."

Victor gasps in shock. "Ah, your right how careless of me...forgive me Edea." He says with a quick bow.

Edea laughs. "It's fine I don't mind, but I'll go now. My name is Edea Peller and I am the Princess of this land called Palette, but things aren't going quiet so well right now...but this is my partner Whismur she's pretty shy though!" She says cheerfully as she points to the tiny Pokemon in her lap who timidly covers it's face from the group.

The silver haired girl then speaks up. "Well, I'll go now. My name is Clair Owen from the icy lands of Snowspire, and this is my partner Swinub." She says looking down at the tiny pig Pokemon in her lap at oinks happily as everyone's attention turns to it.

The boy dressed in green and purple goes next. "Okay my turn, I am Maru from the poison kingdom of Maiasmya, and the Pokemon with me is my friend Arachi the Spinarak." He says proudly.

The blonde girl then speaks up. "Guess I'm up, I am Ashley Crimson from the dark kingdom of Varlox, though it seems that is where the current troubles in Aurora began..." She sighs poking her glass until her partner Pokemon lightly jabs her with one of its claws. "Oh, right sorry...this is my friend Sneasel." The Pokemon then nods to the group before going back to keeping an eye on it's trainer.

Shortly after the waitress arrives with Nate's extra drink. "Welcome to the Merry Blissey." She says with a bow to Melonie. "My name is Heather, what would you like for your meal. Right now we have our famous stew and a berry salad."

Meanwhile, Maru leans closer to Nate whispering. "So, this new girl...do you think she's telling the truth, with all the antics earlier with the Robin girl I'm a bit worried about spies."

Asmund and Gabriel:

Everyone in the crowd murmurs in agreement at Annette and Asmund's thoughts. "Well, with no objections we shall break here for the night once everyone's Pokemon is properly healed, and return here tomorrow morning for the finale. The Palette guards are to return to your posts for guard duty or back to the barracks for rest for your next shift. The royal heirs are free to spend the rest of the night as they wish, but I suggest getting some rest soon...now everyone is dismissed." She says with a nod as she then mingles into the crowd.

Asmund:

Cassandra lightly jabs you back in the arm with a smirk her gaze still focused on Annette as she wraps up her speech. Once it is finished and everyone begins to mingle as some guards come by healing everyone's Pokemon she turns to you. "That was quiet fun, but I think I will go to the bathhouse first so me and Riolu can get cleaned up, after that I think I'll go to the barracks and pick up a light snack before bed." She says with a smile. "But, I'll be up early so we will have time to talk strategy then."

Dorothy then chimes in. "Yes, that was great pratice. I have to go back to my post now, but I'll be free in the morning to iron out the battle plans. We should come up with something fun to do when we win...OHH, I know we should go shopping together Lady Cassandra!! I know some great places that would give you a more royal-like look, with some nice clothes and make-up." She says with a giddy expression.

Cassandra's face turns bright red. "Uhh...dresses and make-up." The tomboyish warrior shuffles back slightly behind you. "W-well, if it's for a victory celebration it should be something that includes all of us." She says avoiding eye contact.

Dorothy frowns. "Oh, boo you're right I guess. Well I'll come up with something exciting by tomorrow...see you then." She says with a bow as she goes to leave causing Cassandra to let out a sigh of relief.

Meanwhile, you can see most of the other heirs and guards chatting together discussing the battles and plans for tonight. Annette is among them as she shakes the hands of the participating heirs and seems to bestow some advice on each of them before moving on, she is currently talking with Gabriel, Graham, and Peter.

Gabriel:

After Annette's speech Graham speaks up. "A meal does sound nice, but I'm not sure if the castle staff will be up to serving us. They are busy tending to the wounded from the battle with the Empire, but we can still try if you want."

Roy chimes in. "Well, your other options for food would be The Merry Blissey Tavern, or the Mess Hall back at the barracks...I think I remember hearing Kanbei say that you are all being moved to the barracks for the night so they can have more room for the wounded. Anyways I need to go back to the barracks to get some rest, the shift for Tauros and I starts soon."

At that point Annette walks up and shakes Graham's hand. "That was excellent planning on your part sir Graham, I expect to see great things from your team tomorrow. Just make sure your team is unified on the attack plan this time."

Graham nods shaking her hand. "Um, thank you Ms Annette. I'll be sure to find Reyn and Judith and for a battle and form a plan with them."

"Good." She then turns her attention to you and Peter. She shakes his hand first then goes to shake your hand. "That was a valiant effort from your team, you have the potential for great things in the future so continue to sharpen your skills."

[Nexous]

"Oh, right. Just to clarify I'm the prince of Pixie. My partner is a Ralts named Athena, and is currently learning a new move." When Maru leans over, and whispers his concern to me I respond in an equally hushed voice. "I find it doubtful that the guard wouldn't have tested that theory. They have shown nothing but caution, and competence since this whole ordeal began." I then turn my attention back to Melonie. "So if you would like. Heather says she has a stew up, or if you're a problem child like me, she may even make you a berry salad."

[Heero]

Gabriel takes her hand and shakes it, " Thank you Ms. Annette i will take your words to heart and improve."

" why don't we go to the tavern?? Then looking to Roy "Get some rest bud you and tauros deserve it."

" It is a pleasure to meet all of you, and your adorable pokemon companions!" She sighs softly.' it seems like things are going quite poorly everywhere I go these days. Something is definitely not right with the world." The girl said sadly. Her little goo companion made an adorable face while nuzzling her trying to look cute to get Melonie to smile. Melonie giggles and shakes her head." I suppose my goomy is right though I should cheer up! I seem to have made quite a few friends already! " After nate mentions stew or berry salad the girl's stomach grumbles a bit to remind her that she was in fact absolutely starving." O-oh right well um.. I suppose stew would be just fine. W-while I'd normally prefer a salad I haven't eaten much at all today so a big meal would be lovely!"

[Creator_Drake]

Asmund chuckled at the return jab, content to keep his piece as things concluded for the night. He watched with a smile, slightly amused at the interplay between Cassandra and Dorothy. Having a good idea at the reason why Cassandra wanted to use him as a human shield, Asmund didn't move.

He gave Dorothy a Metalnian salute before the woman left. Turning to Cassandra he lifted a curious brow, eyes non judgemental.

"I take it that you prefer not to.....indulge in such things?" His voice was quiet, making sure only Cassandra heard his voice. "Is everything alright?"

[Drack]

Melonie and Nate:

Maru nods as Nate gives his opinion on Melonie. "Alright, a guard did bring her here so it stands to reason they made sure she wasn't up to something nefarious." He says softly as he leans back in his chair.

Heather takes Melonie's order. "Alright, I'll get you out a bowl quickly. What would you like to drink? We have water, tea, coffee, and lemonade."

Edea then speaks up. "Well, I suppose we should start working on plans for tomorrow. I know Kanbei wanted to have a meeting in the morning with all the heirs, but after that we should do something fun with everyone, and now introduce Melonie to everyone else!"

Ashley nods. "I agree, I think some of the others mentioned training tonight. We should try to plan a group training regimen with everyone." She says happily.

Clair sighs shakings her head. "Um, Ashley I think Edea meant for something other than training that everyone can enjoy."

Ashley tilts her head. "But, training is fun..." She trails off for a moment. "Well, what does everyone else think?"

Clair chimes in again. "Well, if we are going to be taking the fight to the Empire, we are going to need to stock up on essential supplies like berries and potions. So, I think we should do a group shopping trip through the marketplace for useful items."

Gabriel:

Annette gives you a nod as you thank her. Peter also shakes her hand. "I appreciate that, but I didn't really contribute much in that match, so I don't think anyone was able to gauge my current skill level." He says slightly dejected.

"You have to account for not only your own skills, but your opponents and what plans they might have in store for you. While it's clear all the heirs are close in power some of you have vastly more combat experience than others, that is what this exercise was for, to take note of not only your own strengths and flaws, but those of your allies and what you can learn from them to strengthen yourself and your Pokémon." She retorts. "But, I still need to address the others so take care tonight, and once again thank you for your assistance in dealing with the invaders." She says with a salute before walking off to another group.

Peter pauses for a moment mulling over her words before speaking up. "Well, I guess we should be going. I don't think I've been to The Merry Blissey yet do they have good food?"

Graham chimes in. "It was a pleasant place to eat, Gabriel and I shared a meal with Cassandra last night..." He trails off for a moment. "But, you two can go on ahead of me, I need to talk with Reyn for a bit to make a battleplan for tomorrow. Don't worry I won't be far behind I already have a good idea, I just need to run it by him beforehand so the three of use are on the same page tomorrow."

In the rest of the crowd you can see Asmund and Cassandra talking together alone, and Yuri, Zelos, Mia, and Reyn all chatting together with Annette

Asmund:

Cassandra looks down at the ground as you speak to her. "N-no, it is my duty as the princess of Steelfist to be a warrior above all other things, so I've never had time for things like dresses, make-up, or...relationships. I get some of the others might look at me differently for not being into the things the other royal girls, but I have my own goals that I won't put aside for anyone."
