I was originally concerned that having a blind man may have been disruptive, but I realized that it's actually a touching concept. Here we have a group of people that will likely be freaked out by some of the more monstrous mamono on the isle. But why are they freaked out? Because of how they look.

A blind man sees no monstrous features. All they comprehend is their voice. So naturally, they will never judge a monster on first glance.

I really like that.

Hehe, I'm glad you like it. I figured Poe would be like that. Like I said, he's good at reading people, and without sight, he judges them on who they are, not what they are.
