So question for the GM. In pokemon tabletop there are 4 slots for natural moves, and 4 slots for taught moves. Can that carry through for this game too?

My reasoning behind this is we are limited to one pokemon each, and this way we can have coverage, or in my case I can have a supportive role, and not be dead weight in combat.

Interesting, this is something that I have thought about.

To clearify for everyone: In Pokemon Tabletop Adventures, Pokemon have 8 moveslots instead of the normal 4. 4 spaces for level-up and egg moves, and 4 for TM and Tutor moves. Since TM's are lumped in with Tutor moves in this story it's not much of a problem.

I will take vote from everyone else on how they feel about it though before making a final decision.

Well I know I am new and such but I'd say sure! It'll help us have more moves since we don't have any other pokemon!

Well, since your ralts was around before Sword and Shield it wasn't really an option, since you already have 4 moves in your natural move list is already full, I will give you the option to have your current tutor secession to either be to learn the move you wanted or to re-learn Disarming Voice and replace one of your old moves.

So, with Sword and Shield being brought up I guess I should address a few things about it and how they will effect the story. First there will be not Dynamax/Gigantamax around it just doesn't really fit, not that I don't like the story and lore it's giving each important place a Power Spot and feels a bit like a stretch at best as it's something at was noted to be unique to Galar in the games anyways. And for the updated movelists for Pokemon that made it into the Galar Pokedex vs all the Pokemon left with still their Sun and Move movelists, like I told Nexous I will be using each Pokemon must up to date move pool and change as more older Pokmon are added to the Galar Dex when the expansions are out if your Pokemon would have access to a new move at this point if we started with the Galar Dex you can have that move be relearned to it. And finally as for Galar Pokemon themselves, I haven't added any Alolan Pokemon yet into the story either so don't expect anything right away, but that doesn't mean I am not planning allies and enemies that come from those lands.

Now I am going to put up some stat lists for Important Npc's and Empire Elites to show off the Eight move system:

Hey Drack, considering how Beldum is in most games, will there be any changes for it's moveset from here on out? Or do I have to wait till it evolves into Metang to see anything? Or rather, with the additional move slots can Beldum learn more supportive moves?

Well Beldum's movepool has always been limited, with Move Tutoring it gets access to: Iron Head, Iron Defense, Zen Headbutt, and Hold Back.

This RP going on? What's it gonna be about? The thread is really old so I'm mixed up in all the older posts. Sounds interesting though. Maybe my Pokémon knowledge isn't good enough though.

Yeah it's still going strong, it's been restarted in the past but the main story is still the same. The story takes in an era like the one in the game Pokemon Conquest, so before Pokeballs and the Pokedex are invented, and you can only have one partner Pokemon so not having a lot of Pokémon knowledge isn't a big deal.

I noticed that Cassandra goes before Asmund does - derp. I changed the dialogue a little to set things up better.
