Official RP Rules

Post by Pokemonaces »

Okay. These are the basic rules that All...and I mean All Members who make an RP must follow. This is very important so that way, people wont have any problems with the RP they make or are in. Now here are the rules for...

Applies for both DM and RP players

1. Absolutely no Trolling/Flamming other members, whether you made the RP or are a participant, offending the members is strictly forbidden and will not be tolerated!
- 1st and 2nd Offense: Will lead to a fair Verbal Warning
- 3rd Offense: You are Automatically kicked out of the RP if you are participating in one. If your a DM, your RP will be locked
- 4th Offense: Temporary ban
- 5th Offense: Permanently banned in the RP Forum

2. If you are absent in the RP you made or participated in for too long, the DM or one of the Participating RP'ers have the right to consult us RP mods to discuss with the DM or certain missing RP participant. If they do not respond for a time, we will give permission to the DM'ers to kick them out of the RP. Now if it is the DM, we will lock the RP until the DM reclaims it.

Dungeon Masters (DM's)

1. You as the Dungeon Master are responsible for your own RP. So please, keep a constant eye on it and don't just abandon it without notifying the people who play in your RP so you don't disappoint not only your fellow playing members, but to keep your reputation clean.

2. EDIT: (02-15-12) You may make more than one RP, but I recommend you make as little as possible. Four or Five should be enough since RP's (Especially global ones) Are very hard to manage. Trust me, I know...

3. If your going to be absent from the RP. Let you fellow participating Members know and explain your reason as best as possible so they can understand. And at least say if you can for how long you will be gone so people will know when you come back. If you can't due to some problem (Like internet loss), then that is fine, but there is time limit of one month. If a month has passed, then the RP you made will be locked until you reclaim it back

4. Be a nice Dungeon Master. If the participants of your RP dislike your way of managing the RP, try to make it better by responding to them more nicely. Don't get so impatient if certain players don't get what your talking about. Tell them in a spoiler of what you mean.

5. Be sure to regularly update your RP if you have new content or info to add to it.

6. As the DM, you have the right to inform any of us RP mods if there is a RP Participant who constantly disturbs your RP. You can let them know that they are not welcome in the RP if they cause trouble, but if they ignore you, then inform us and we will deal with them

7. Making Extremely offensive RP's that have to do anything with Guro and other similar concepts are strictly forbidden. This rule is very important to follow. If you make a very offensive RP, you will be asked to delete it.

8. You cannot take control of another person's character in the RP unless you ave their permission. While you are the dungeon master, does not mean you can control everything

RP players

1. As a participant of an RP, you have to respect and agree to any rules the DM has made, now you can make suggestions to them, that way, the DM can actually enhance the RP to better satisfy RP players

2. Be sure to let your fellow players of the RP and the DM if you will be absent from the RP, so that way they will know that you will not be responding for awhile. It is fair after all to let others know you'll be gone. Now it is understandable that if you can't let the DM and participants of the RP know that your gone if you for some reason have a problem (Like internet loss), that's fine. But the maximum time will be a month. If you are gone after a month has passed from your last post in the RP, you will be kicked out to make more room. Of course this is the DM's decision, if your mod is kind enough to wait for you even longer than that though.

3. Be a patient player and wait for someone to respond. If you have forgotten to do something, edit your post.

4. You may drop out of an RP at any time for any reason as long as you explain it to the DM first. As long as you feel you can handle it, there is practically no limit to how much RP's you can participate in.

5. You cannot just drop into RP's that you are not in and post whatever you want in it. If you do, you will be issued a warning, second offense is a temporary ban, third offense is a permanent ban

Follow these guidelines and everyone will be happy!
