So I know it's been forever since this game had any news but I just want to say that I have played Saints row the third on the switch port and the game is do damn hilarious.

I also downloaded saints row IV to my PC so I'll be gibing that a shot soon myself.

Yea SR3 was the best I think, but SR2 is great in a different category. Sadly SR2 is very buggy on Steam so I never got to fully enjoy it. S4 was just too over the top for me, and felt rushed. Still a great game with friends though. Saint's Row is much more fun in a team.

I don't know anyone else to play with, specially since my first crack at saints row a was the one on the nintendo switch.

Saints row IV has it too so maybe I can find someone there. But Gotta go through the campaign first to see what I'm getting into.

Try the GoG version of SR2; had it for years and runs like a charm. IMHO, it's THE BEST of all "GTA-style" games- yes, even better than GTA itself...

The fact it's one of the few games Yahtzee GENUINELY LIKED and used as a measure of quality for years to come tells you a lot...

Yea I know but hot damn, jumping from being a president to alien invasion to virtual reality within the first hour is a crazy ass way to transition from scene to scene.

I might play with the lesser played saints two one and two but for now I'll have fun playing as Lucina from fire emblem since her and one of the female voice actors on saints row IV are the same

It just felt like trying to watch a stationary outside movie screen while driving in a race car. Not a terrible experience, just hard to keep up with the pace. I was busy in "wtf just happened?" mode during most scenes. I wasn't happy about being stuck in the alien world though, the Saint's Row I was expecting was gone. I only stopped playing because my friend did however. It was during the SR4 free weekend. We bought it later, but didn't feel like starting over and that was that.
