If you think of me as nothing more than a mere wanderer...you are trully mistaken, because I can destroy the very fabric of your being with the power bestowed upon me.
Where there is a question there is an answer, where there is an option there is another, my path is mine alone to make.
Death? I have gotten used to it, for I cannot die...I come back every time.
(Post delay) Release date confirmed.
If things go as how are to be expected this time around they should be as it follows:
America-> 9/2/2016
Rest of the World-> 12/2/2016
Also a special demo, only accesible to backers (be it via Kickstarter or via Paypal) is available on the Humble Bundle.
It contains 3 playable levels (plus the mandatory intro level) and a small portion of the challenge mode.
And Kaijin you are the "Perentie" of this place, IMO.
They will never, ever, ever be able to run a successful kickstarter again with all the shady shit they've been doing. Personally, I'm glad I didn't back it. Means I have no reason to be pissed.

Alright what they do now?

Apparently this new delay was caused by some bugs in the network modes...AGAIN, and unlike the last time we don't have a release date for it but rather a "guesstimate" since it will (hopefully) be released around Springtime according to Inafune himself.

You know what? I can take one delay, I can take two delays.
But a third is kinda pushing it, I am honestly starting to lose hope in it. I am totally expecting a fourth delay even though the developers said it won't be delayed ever again after this. This is disappointing.
I know it takes time, money, effort and all. to make a polished game, and I know sudden situations come up at the worst times and all, but this ammount of delays is a bit too much.
Honestly.

I do believe that there is a comic that describes the situation that this game is in now perfectly.
That's actually called Déja Vú (As you already posted the same stip in the same thread while alluding to the same issue).
Other than that, I agree with Scrapmaster here.
One thing is wanting to released a flawless product that people can enjoy and the makers can feel proud of... And that takes time, but keep delaying the release date over and over will eventually eat people's trust in project away.
It would have been better of them to put a longer term deadline than what they've done here.

It doesn't help that the drama with that community manager already ate the backers' trust. Not to mention those few who played the demo reported they were unimpressed by it... at this point MN9 feels like a farce even to the most inveterate defenders of the project.
Yeah I know man, the "humor" is so way over the top bad that I could barely watch it. It wasn't much of a surprise after seeing their trailer on the 3D "cartoon" they used a chunk of that mil for. Was the game such a disappointment for them that they had to make the advertisement a complete joke, like something rehashed from an 80s morning cartoon?
*Sigh* I really hate being negative about this game, I had such high hopes. Glad I never did back it, but I'm not giving up all hope, yet.
From the trailer standpoint, I'll just go on record to say sometimes there's such a thing to be too cheesy, both figuratively and literally.
Though the advanced dashing and combos will turn it into a Battletoads approach (Sans the difficulty but for people doing high score attacks)
The humor, obviously geared towards a much younger audience so yeah, overdone...
Well... I guess that for every dozen of big Kickstarter hits like Darkest Dungeons, Pillars of Eternity or Undertale, there'll have to be at least one big flop. Sadly, for what I've seen, MN9 is gearing towards that...

Lucky you, that you didn't pay for it...
I actually did back for it (and supposed a pretty big sacrifice doing so for me) and what have I gotten in return? Countless delays, inept staff that kept messing things up, an ad worse and sillier than 95% of shopping networks' ads and a product that most likely will never meet the standards they promised us.
...Way to play with millions of people's hopes and illusions Comcept.
