Yeah, but for what I've read, the strike's well-justified. Seriously, that guy who did Kellogg's voice on FO4 did one hell of a great job, and he didn't even KNEW he was voicing such a major character! Simply unbelievable....

On another news, DOOM was finally cracked. HURRAY!!

That's right! The so-high-and-mighty Denuvo was knocked down a notch once again. Although this time, it wasn't the good fellas at 3DM who did the feat, this time instead we got a team of Italian Hackers known simply as '''CPY'', whom now can proudly boast that they cracked the game whose security was that said to be the one that would ''end game piracy forever''.

While I cannot provide any link to the news (because they were all removed within the last 15 hours, probably as a sore loser move from someone.), I can attest for myself that I just played a cracked version of it on a friend's PC, and found countless copies of the crack on various pirate sites.

And the cracked game not only works much better than the genuine one, it can even be run on PCs with lower specs than the recommended minimum. This is not by any kind of optimization the crack itself brings in, but due to the fact that the 15% of RAM and CPU that the game required to keep Denuvo running. This has caused for many genuine buyers to ACTUALLY SWITCH TO THE PIRATE VERSION just for the performance boost (a fact that by itself must be quite a slap across the faces of both Bethesda and the Denuvo team themselves).

So, for the look of things, and just as many has expected, there's no sign that game piracy will be ending any time soon. Whether that's good or bad, it's all up to you.

I just wish people didn't have to resort to piracy take anime for example, they make it difficult for us to buy not mention overly expensive and then wonder why people pirate it. It's the same with games, make them affordable for everyone and take away region locking and I believe people will not pirate as much, also stop restricting access to only certain people, it isn't fair and just makes people determined to do it even more.

Not always true, did you see what happened to Machinarium? So sad. They practically had to beg people to buy it. At least the pirates had some heart later. I think indies will always get more respect then pros now, since there seems to be a stigma against big game companies thanks to crappers like Ubisoft, EA, and Konami..

That being said, $60 is outrageously high cost for a game. $40 was fine. I always have to wait a long time to buy games now because greedy devs, even indies are trying it out now (Hello no man's).

And now, Crytek, who hasn't paid their employees in several months and reportedly out of money, has shut down all but it's main studio.

Well, they haven't been launching good games lately, Crysis 3 was...alright? but it didn't sell as much as 1 and 2. Homefront the Revolution was...very average, and released on a bad time.

tough situation they're in, im afraid they might even be bought by another company soon.

I'm hearing mostly negative stuff about it MEA, mainly because of weak character cast and bad animations. I am playing ME3 right now though, since it was on sale in Jan. Feels weird continuing from 2010 from ME2 hehe.

Idk about weak character cast, so far I like most of the characters. Animation I can agree upon, every so often there is a bug, but not very often. SPOILER WARNING
Spoiler: show
when you find out the kett are abducting people and Turing them into kett, you kind of go "damn it same story different galaxy
SPOILER WARNING. I would say though, the game play mechanics that they had from all 3 they polished them up quite nicely. Ground vehicle is proportionate, so no imaginary coffin seats for your character's, the exploration is bigger but not tedious mountain climbing, resource gathering is done from the ground but not as boring as it was the second game. Planet scanning is only necessary for either a mission or if there's an anomaly. There's no more dancing into cover just have your weapon out and walk up to it. And you have jet packs. Classes are not super restrictive, which she'll find out very early in the game
