HOLY NINTENDO HARD PLATFORMERS OF THE GOLDEN AGE!!

This is just too good to be true. :what!?:

First Inafune-sensei comes with MN9 and now IGA-sensei, one of the highest legends of the platformer world, brings us his new take on Castlevania, now WITH AN MG PROTAGONIST!?

As soon as I have 28$ I'll be donating, and if I don't get that much, I'll give the 5$ I have right now. IGA-sensei deserves every penny!!

EDIT: And just not I noticed Michiru Yamane's name there in the Epic Music Department. Yet another legend of the game world, and yet another reason to donate.

Since it seem obvious now that I won't be getting that extra cash, I put my meager 5$ there. It's the very least I can do, even if all I get is the right to say ''I Contributed!''...

Has anyone yet seen the E3 demo of Bloodstained? It's just so damn amazing!

Even if it's just one short (but exciting) level, you can feel the epicness oozing from every pixel of it; combining the best parts of both SotN and the ''Of Sorrow'' games, bringing a new and better ''Igavania'' game to the current generation with some damn amazing looks and combat mechanics.

But, better than my words on it, here is the mighty Jimquisitor playing his backer-exclusive copy of the demo. So thanks God for him (and thanks him for funding it).

EDIT: And yes, Shantae isn't the only upcoming KS-backed game with an oversized mermaid as first boss. Although theirs is waaaaay cuter....

One of my favorite parts of Castlevania, besides being a bad ass dude, was having monster girl companions (Sprite in SOTN and Harpy in DoS). I hope that feature returns, because then I'll be buying this. :)

Didn't Mighty No. 9 flop though?

THis game looks very promising. Unlike a certain number 9 game. *wink* *wink*

My god Keiji Inafune's name will never be cleaned from this flop...

More likely we'll see Miriam (the protagonist) as a monstergirl. :D

I prefer to play as a man and have a monster girl following me around though.. :(

The demo was a nice game to play, even if my computer is technically not compatible with a few issues of loading/freezing (small freezes that act like a scratched PS1 game) during the actual game. So far I've enjoyed these Kickstarted games, Shovel Knight, Undertale, Mighty Number 09 (yes I actually love it), and now Bloodstained (E3 Demo at least)

The time has come...

Can't believe it has been 3 years already; time does fly.

Once again, the time has come at (almost) last

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is coming to Steam, GoG, PS4 and Xbox 1 on June 18th. Nintendo Switch on June 25th.
And not a single mention of the Epic Store. Well done IGA-sensei, I knew I could trust you.

They did just today; Zangetsu confirmed so far. And there will be another, yet-not-announced playable character.

Very cool! Now I'm interested, the other main character didn't appeal to me.
