.... Hold on.... Let me make this question in case I saw that the wrong way....

This new Zelda is going to be some kind of.... wilderness survival game with crafting elements? Like a Zelda version of ARK!? :what!?: :stunned:

That's the impression I'm getting. They have said they were going to change the fundamental belief on what makes a Zelda game, and from the trailer I think it takes place after Twilight Princess.

 That is correct, and it is purely a rumor but a few people are speculating a return from Minda. Granted there isn't any evidence to support this but its nice to think about.

Edit: OH Shit!

Same here but I really don't want to spend 60$ to get one, but who knows maybe Ill get lucky and find it by itself later.

Yeah hoping maybe to get one on Ebay or if they release a single one later. I swear they mentioned somewhere that you won't have to buy the entire TP game to get it ..

Link was shown using an axe in the trailer for this. The hype is real!

It's also going to release for the Nintendo NX next year as well.

I'm not sure if that would be any consolation to Blake since his country charges outrageously for consoles. :( It probably wouldn't even be wise to early buy an NX right anyway.

I just hope they sell that Amiibo separately because I want that wolf. :)

from what they showed the wolf link you scan in will have the same number of hearts in breath of the wild as when you finish that amiibo dungeon in TP without that he'll just have the standard 3, so it pays to get the game if to have him with you through the whole gam.

Eh, that's a hefty price for a pet. I've already bought TP for $60 years ago so, it seems stupid to buy it again. The Dolphin emulator's HD is just as good, if not better, as Nintendo's too.

The game looks really nice, but I don't see how it can be better than Skyrim. From the videos, it looks like a weak Skyrim. I think this game release is a couple years behind, because open world is kind of losing its luster in my opinion (and I doubt TES will ever be topped). There is zero companion fighters besides the wolf, it seems. My only hope for buying this was playable/companion Zelda (which was floated as an idea but scrapped). There is no friend that talks to you and gives annoying advice or quirky comments..I don't know, I'm not feelin it with this one. Twilight Princess remains at the top for me.

If Nintendo is ever not being greedy @#$%#@*# (riiiight) and puts this one sale one day I will try it though. The Switch in general is a massive disappointment with its lineup. Almost every game so far is on other consoles and mobiles already...

If the NEW SMT is actually released in the States, I may get one used like I did with the Wii U.

Srsly, is anyone actually excited about the Switch? It just seems like another failed Nintendo console in the making. It doesn't even come with a Mario game for harpy's sake! BAD!

This game takes place sometime after Ocarina of Time. No word on which timeline though. Been watching a L.P. of this game and it's pretty damn cool.

Yeah it does LOOK awesome, that's for sure. I'm wondering how rich the story is though. So far it just sounds like Ys Celceta, where you collect lost memories. I personally like open world games to have a decent plot or a reason that gives me a reason to pursue it the end. So far Oblivion hasn't been topped for me though. I loved watching the world gradually get taken over by portals and darkness and once you seal them up, the area was clear. It was so damn cool! If the world is directly influenced in BoW by how to play the game, I'm going to get interested more.

That's all? Nothing notable making it fun? Hard to know. Did you get the Wii U version?
