Now for those saying that she is based on the Huldra, well the answer is no. In the myth, there were stories where the Huldra possessed a cow tail, while in other stories, she had a fox tail and a hollow-covered back.

The answer is still yes... The very fact that author preferred the Norwegian version over the Swedish one, doesn't make it any less of a Huldra.

As far as I know, the fox tailed version can be depicted with both characteristics. But being a native European, you might be more knowledgeable about that matter than myself. I'm way more inclined to say that it's more of a artistic choice taken by the author than something that actually has a mythologic value behind... He does that A LOT when dealing with non-Japanese monsters (take a look a Kikimora, her looks couldn't get more different from its Slavic lore counterpart).

Okay... No reference for her shyness/shame about showing her tails, nor mention to rewards for any who is kind and/or decent enough to warn them that their tails are showing, nor any mention to their romantic nature... nor their adamant determination for interespecies marriage (it's believed that it a huldra marries a human man, she becomes a human (actually there are stories where that happens), that's why they dream of marrying humans), no reference to their anger point either (while gentle by nature, huldras can be rather unpleasant to deal with if something really grind their gears).

Now I see what you meant back there, Hood. This one is NOT a huldra, but the whole big limb issue was not the thing that didn't make her a huldra.

...This one is kinda "meh" to me, sure lookswise it's kind of attractive (that warm look on her eyes and that impressive and overly tight wet nurse bossom is quite the combo), but other than that I kinda expected more from her, way more than breeder/gardener that assaults men because she's high on clorophyl.

Now that I think about it.... Living with one of those must be a royal pain in the rear, with the whole body covered with plants issue. During day time they're high and horny due to clorophyl, however during night they exepl huge amounts of CO2 (the one expelled by them AND the one expelled by the countless flora inhabiting their symbiotic bodies)... which it can't be very healthy to their husbands...
