I'm not quite sure how to describe my two cents with her. Perhaps when a translation comes in I'll pass judgement.

According to wikipedia, the name is linked the the Vegetable Lamb of Tartary, a plant that had a sheep growing from it's top.

More green sheep. I told ya, there is no end to them! *is covered in sheep*

Well now, this is very, very strange....

A half-dryad, half-sheep being from an obscure mythology. Kudos to KK for pulling out something so unusual. Although I'm sure he did it because it's the Year of the Sheep, hah.

Since I know next to nothing about her, I have no idea of what to expect here. Wonder what it'll be....

At this point. I am wondering how big the encyclopedia will be 10 years from now. Because KK is digging deeper than anyone has dug before in personifications.

That's quite an interesting question; just with the Japanese Folklore, there's enough to make a thousand MGs, and if you include every mythological being in the world to that list..... Dunno how old is KK, but I don't think that he'd be able to run out of MGs even if he made a new profile every day for the rest of his life....

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if 10 years from now there were over 500 of them.

Yeah he seems to be band wagoning lately, he really pays attention to what's popular. First the pandas now the sheep. I wonder if he will make another cute harpy before he dies? heh.

To me, she looks like an orange living prisoner fruit, from the MGE 2, Devildom's guide. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1759

:hmm?: I am not sure how to react to this one...

Anyway, I think I agree with Feathers and would like to see another harpy (it's been so long since he made one). Or maybe another tauric MG. I think the last tauric MG we had was Cancer, and that was quite a while ago too.

Well I Think I know who Cottonne and whimsicott are based on now XD

This monster girls is very interesting, so I can't wait for the translation, but something tells me she is on the playful, cheerful side with a carefree demeanor

That's a pretty obscure reference there... heading all the way to both Central Asia and Jewish heritage...
I was expecting something sheep based/related coming from him to start off the year and I was fearing to see a black wooled weresheep or something like that... I'm glad to be wrong this time around.

I don't know how this one will turn out... But hey has already an A for originality/effort for this lil' one.

.P.S.:
whimsicott
And here I thought I was the one who thought that...
Anyway, while Whimsicott might have some base on the Vegetable Lamb itself it seems to be more focused on the Saci (a one legged and brown skinned humanoid creature from Brazilian folklore known for its pransker nature... just like Whimsicott) and a fully bloomed ball of cotton.

(NOOOO not Whimsicott, I wanted to forget him! Lilligant all the way! :D)

But yea I wonder if she can leave that jello casing. Looks hard to move around like that. Though knowing plants it's probably part of her trap.

I admit, my first thought was "A sheep girl and a Terraria Life Fruit?" But I admit, I certainly did not see this one coming.

My goodness! Is that jelly fruit she rides made of Flobber? So much bouncing there, and it ain't Gainax (points at her DFC).
