今回の魔物娘は、クトゥルフより粘液状奉仕生物、「ショゴス」さんです。
This time's monster girl is the slimy service creature, “shoggoth”-san.

キキーモラにライバルあらわる！という事で見ての通りのメイドさんです。
A rival of kikimora has appeared! And so, just as it looks, she is a maid-san.

創造主に反乱を起こして野生化したりもした彼女達ですが、
They rebelled against their creators and turned wild,

図鑑世界ではとても忠実に仕えてくれる極めて有能なメイドさんらしいです。
but in the encyclopedia world, it seems they are extremely proficient maid-san that will serve loyally.

しかし、最近の2種族同様の出自を持つ彼女達がそれだけで済むはずは……
However, since they have the same origin as the other 2 most recent races, there's definitely more to it than just that.....

The ultimate question. Which is best maid?

I like her appearance-wise. She's pretty spot on with what I think a Shoggoth-girl would look like to be honest. Those barely formed eyes and random mouths and polypous limbs, along with deep, unsettliny colored slime for a body. I won't give extra points for that sultry look, that comes standard with MGE stuff, but I do like how she's mimiced her form and has one eye-thing in the shape of a heart.

I'm certain that KC won't be faithful to original backstory though, reasons in the spoiler.

Shoggoths were created as a servant race by The Elder Things, a race of technologically advanced aliens, though particularly in genetic engineering. Shoggoths are essentially moving bags of genetic material and the reason all life exists on Earth is because of them. They also seem to be very violent, since the expedition crew that discovered them ended up mostly dead.

I'd agree with almost, but I would put money on KC's never having actually read a HPL story in his life and knows about Shoggoths purely by exchange of information. Also, "dat foot mouth" is because Shoggoths will randomly form body parts as they see fit to use, which is because they are moving slime bags of genetic material.

Seems Kenkou has been feeling Lovecraft lately. This one looks interesting, I must say.

Hmmmm... I've never been that interested in Lovecraftian lore, so I can't say I'm moved by this one.
Lookswise she isn't that bad... for an Eldritch abomination that is, so that's kind of a plus I guess but I'll save my two cents for the translated version.

IN any case, I'm looking forward to the translation. she won't be violent per-se seeing as this is the MGE, but who knows? she might have a lot of things in common with the originals of her race

I'd agree with almost, but I would put money on KC's never having actually read a HPL story in his life and knows about Shoggoths purely by exchange of information.

Who knows, maybe you'll be in for a nice surprise and find out he DID read the books and portrays her accurately. Only the translation will tell.

Also, my money is on that Cthulhu is next, which will probably call for a certain trope hah.

Okay, I am putting this in writing now before there is any translation of the Shoggoth profile:

Shoggo are related to the Beyond, they were servants of the the Outer Gods who when energy from the Grand Changing leaked through weak spots in the fabric of reality, became mamonme themselves. Many fled the Beyond through these weak-spots in their search for a husband. Shoggo are biological geniuses and are responsible for having brought about the cure to the woes of mamonme. They are capable of sending their potential partner as well as other humans and mamonme into insanity merely from being glimpsed and as such only seek out those with open minds or strong wills who will be able to resist these effects. They live in mansions in areas known as Reality Wells, regions where reality is at its thinnest. They often name their children with variations of the name Tekeli and frequently end any statements they make with this name.

They helped Heaven and The Gentle Flame in exchange for help with their own insanity inducing woes and are now capable of integrating into society thanks to this help. Depending on the human, being around a Shoggo will slowly sap away at their spiritus. When the spiritus runs dry, they will become insane and will have to sleep to recompose themselves and their spiritus however when they awake they will simply have something akin to a hangover, but they will be otherwise normal maybe even a little more tolerant. Carnal activities of course sap spiritus faster. In fact some shoggo force their husbands to nap more often to prevent them from running out of spiritus.

I am truly sorry for posting this here, but I want to make it clear that the Shoggo have been around longer than this Shoggoth profile and I am not copying it when I eventually get around to completing my own. Also

Of all things KC got his hands on Lovecraft. Personally I would preffer he focus on traditional monsters from mythology and fantasy and leave eldrich abominations from cthulhu myhos alone.

Also adding a concept sketch of a Shoggo, Shoggo are Eldritchian slimes who often inspire insanity in individuals with a closed mind. Shoggo are geniuses in relation to biological and energy experimentation. Perhaps due to their past, they appear attired in an apron, similar to that of a servant or maid. Their outfits however are fringed with eyes which continuously blink in and out of existence.

KC has stated that chaos gods are sealed alive deep in the ocean that the Mind Flayer is a servant of. These chaos gods make it seem that Cthulhu is one of them. No one knows if they are monster girls themselves but KC said that tbey most likely are already tranformed due to how the Demon Lord's energy works on transforming beings, as there are already two Monster Girl Goddesses.

Well... technically speaking if she's a slime, she doesn't count as tentacled lady.
She just happens to have a malleable body (that apparently can act as a replacement for your good ol' Swiss army knife... talk about versatility).
