Alright KC, I will admit it: That is SICK as hell. Can barely wait for the translation.

Pretty cool and dangerous looking, it has its own attractiveness to it.

Still to see this. She looks like a yandere to boot.

Man, seems KC is going full inventory; first armor, now sword. Wonder who'll be next; bow or shield?

Anyway, I see Yandere all over this one. And my inner sense tells me that she'll be born either from swords forged by evil blacksmiths, who instilled a killing intent on them as objects so much that it gave them a soul, or the sword of a warrior that has killed so many enemies that it got a taste for blood.

And somehow, I think she'll serve as a good ''Evil Counterpart/Nemesis'' of the Living Armor (who cares a lot about her wearer); she'll probably force her husband down a path of blood and carnage....

She looks like Nagi from Bloody Roar 4 with even less clothing and a Soul Edge knock-off attached by the heck of it...^^U

Lookswise she looks kind of badass-ish I suppose, but for some reason I can't find it as impressive and/or awe inspiring as most people around these corners consider her? it? to be...
But nevertheless I'll wait to the translated version before making a judgement about if she makes the cut or not.

It's because you have higher expectations than a lot of us has.

At least that's what it seems like to me.

I doubt it. Well, certainly she'll be the antithesis of the Living Armour in terms of personality, but blood and carnage?

Impossible, she is a mamono. She may look bloodthirsty and evil, but when it came down to it, she'd quaver at the thought of striking a man down.

Tell that to a hellhound or black harpy that has had their loved ones threatened. That they don't want to kill humans is far from being afraid of killing humans.

Not to mention this is an RPG style land. Swords are not nearly as lethal as they are in reality.

Just saw the translated profile on Gelbooru and.... Bloody Hell! (Quite Literally).

She's basically the MGE's Yuno (Mirai Nikki); her Yandere-ness makes the Shirohebi and the Jorougumo look as docile as a Yeti, and she's got a ''slashy'' fetish (read: likes to slash EVERYTHING). However, it seems like she comes with a ''Husband-Only Demeanor Switch'' (sorta like the Jorou's day and night thing); once she find a man, she changes from Yandere to Yangire...

It's because you have higher expectations than a lot of us has.

At least that's what it seems like to me.

I can assure I don't have any expectation whatsoever, as a matter of fact I've mentioned like dozens of times in the past that for me that MGE is basically nothing more than artbook for me (since I consider the setting poorly written (and poorly executed on the entries that are decently written), full of plotholes, nonsensical retcons and Mary Sue tier characters...).

Buh oh well... What I don't like other people do... So yeah, to each their own.

My impressions about her? Unlike her defensive counterpart, they're actually pretty poor...

Design wise... It's supposed to look menacing, badass, intimidating... However I find her looks way too overloaded, gaudy and goofy looking, I guess she could be kind of "badass-ish"somehow... But I don't feel it.
Personality wise... She's pretty much a poorly ported Berserker class servant from the Fate universe with a on-off switch. If you're around her she's tame, if not she goes haywire... Pretty much like this lass over here.

Also it's kinda disappointing that despite being a "sword" her husband can't even wield it... What's the point of having a blade so powerful than even the Demon Lady herself fears (to some extent) and not being able to use it?
And yeah... I'm aware that she's meant to be a humanoid/sentinent weapon... But I've seen in other settings/media how a sword can be humanoid, fully sentinent and still act as both a doting "waifu" and be wielded as a weapon if needed.

Overall... For me... this girl can't hack it.
I find her pretty "meh" and I find more interesting the things the profile doesn't mention (like what would happen if the sword was found by a man instead of a woman) than anything mentioned on it.

That's EXACTLY the question everybody's asking; quite the Texas-sized loophole on this one. Hope KC's notes on this profile will clarify it.
