The eagle is named Hresvelgr and is one of the two beings Ratatoskr would incite fights between with message delivery. Nidhoggr the evil wyrm being the other being.

That's a different being from the Eagle in Yggdrasil. Hersvelgr is actually a Giant in the form of an Eagle, and sits in the northern edge of the heavens, according to the Poetic Edda.

Huh, thought it was a eagle. Cause otherwise I only know of Vidofnir a chicken who has a glow about it who sits on Yggdrasil.

Now I want to see a Nidhogg profile. Hopefully KC will keep up on the norse monsters.
