Re: Scylla
The no-kill policy for MGs does not cover self-defense or protection. MGs can kill if their life depended on it or they are forced to do so to protect someone they care about. What that policy does cover is how the MGs were monsters before that would attack and kill men for the fun of it or through a predator-prey relationship. The policy overwrote that aspect of their instincts.
So if in the case some cutthroat pirate wanted to kill a scylla, I imagine she'd have no problem defending herself through any means necessary. She might think it's a waste, but she'd be safe at least.

I thought that love had given up on me...but while I was here, I found that love had different shapes and was in different places. I experienced so many types of love. After traveling this world, I can say this for certain: I love monster girls! --Shuu from To the World of MGE

And the Scyllas can take care of themselves anyway. They're a rough and ready bunch.

Oh yeah, forgot about that part. Then yeah, as you say, it'd be a total waste'o their time.
You know what the problem is with motivational speakers? They speak to much. Nowadays, the analogy "actions speak louder than words" is regarded so much as the norm that whenever motivational speakers do what they came for, nearly every person making up their audience couldn't really give any less of a flyin' fuck.

Nothing says they can't subdue anyone who attacks them instead of killing them.

Re: Scylla
Okay, but that rescinds back to the previous point of whether the Scylla want their lives taken or not in regards to the Pirates, which don't care either way, they just the weird cursed octopus women off their ship by any means.

In anycase I have always imagined the Scyllas being pirates themselves. I'm sure they can look after themselves. Many men have been dragged overboard by rubbery tentacles and married.

Re: Scylla
If that's possible, how could you climb up the side of ships? Pretty sure it'd be frustratin' ta see yer Scylla girl just casually slither up the side while you have no visible holds to latch onto.

I don't know, although her ass is pretty squishy, it might be hard to grip something so firm and round for a lift don't you think?

I'm sure the Scylla doesn't need to use all 8 of her tentacles to climb like that, which would allow her to hold you with one of them, or allow you to grab said tentacle as if it were a rope. ...I could use Alexandra's tail for something similar, if I decided to not levitate for whatever reason.

If fish are sea kittens, does that make mermaids sea catgirls?
