Well, I don't think there's much'o a difference between the two except that a Sea Bishop can regulate how long you can breathe water. Nereids forever change you though.

Well it's still up for debate how much the Sea Bishop changes a human man, It's really left to the imagination.

Aren't Sea Bishops capable of using a lesser chant to enable a dude to breathe underwater temporarily? Or am I just imagining things?

Anyone else think that the Nereid could be seen as a potential expy of the Zoras from the Legend of Zelda series?

If the Nereid was in final fantasy, link would of never gotten out of the water temple.

Not trying to be mean, just thinking the correction is still necessary. Link is from Legend of Zelda, not Final Fantasy.

Of course, though, that everyone gets Whippe-san's point. I'm sure I do. One quite pleasurable Mamono in disposition and loveliness. And practically the last profile I read... second-to-last only to the Doppelganger.

Well, that would be very simple Whippe. As a Nereid, you would most likely try to convince your mother that being a mamono is in fact quite good and fulfilling...and if that doesn't work or your mom doesn't listen, then your instinct as a Nereid would take over and you would turn your mother into a Nereid as well...Okay, that just sounds depressing so I'm gonna get away from that point.
