There's something I don't get. It says that when they bring their man to the sea, where they have sex at the bottom. Wouldn't the man drown on the way, there? Or does he magically gain the ability to breathe under water after she seduces him?

I am under the impression that the sex at the bottom of the sea is after she has saved him from drowning. After all, they do look for and "save" people who are in danger of doing so. After saving him, she brings him back to her home at the bottom of the sea and they...start a family.
