A variant of lizardman with burning red scales that inhabits places with comparatively high temperatures such as volcanic regions, etc. They have frank and hot-blooded personalities, and many of them are natural-born warriors who seek to battle like flames burning hotly.
They basically never attack human men, but they have a trait similar to that of the lizardman. If a man is a warrior just like them, then they'll aggressively seek a challenge. The flames of their tail become more intense the more their fighting spirit and level of arousal increases. The more they get into it in a battle with a man, the more drawn out it becomes, and the more tension there is, the more rapidly their fighting spirit and arousal soars, and the bigger and more violent the flames of their tail become. In many cases, once the battle is over, their arousal subsides, and then the flames of their tail die down, but if the flames remain unaffected whether in victory or defeat, then in that case, the battle was one of her best. At that point, her arousal from fighting will not subside, and the flames of her tail will not die down, instead continuing to rage up and burn violently.
This is the proof that she has recognized a man as her most worthy adversary. Encountering her most worthy adversary causes her to feel the greatest pleasure as a warrior, and brings her to a new height of arousal. And then, this arousal soon changes into another type.
Even after the battle, her flames of arousal continue to burn, becoming ever more violent, and at that point, she strongly desires the man who turned out to be her most worthy adversary. The flames change into flames of passion that burn up her body. In this way a new feeling that causes their heart to race comes over them.
Driven by burning passion and strong urges, they will probably loudly declare their love for the man on the spot, and ask him to become their husband and have sex with them. Even if the man should refuse, once the flames flare up, they will never die down. They'll keep seeking the man, even if they have to follow him to the ends of the earth, and keep screaming about how they love him. Most of them are the type that opens their mouth and jumps into action without thinking things over beforehand. If they feel love for a man, words of love will fly out of their mouths before they do any thinking. If their body is burning, they won't be able to stand it, and they'll push a man down in their pursuit.
Furthermore, the flames of their tail created by their demonic energy won't harm those who touch it as long as the salamander has no intent to cause harm, nor do they cause their body temperature to become high.

Not me. I like a girl who would express her feelings for me with no care for who's watching/listening. In fact, if I knew beforehand how Salamanders were and "fulfilled the conditions" for getting her to fall for me, I'd probably deny her on purpose just to see/hear her do that before giving her the "shut up kiss" and admitting that I felt the same for her all along.

Actually, for me it'd be more like playing around, messing with her, leading her on, basically me being a jackass to her, provoking her to do that until I got tired of it. Then, when I feel that it's the perfect moment, I give her a well-placed/timed "Shut Up" Kiss, confess to my not-so-nice treatment of her, apologize, and proceed to make it up to her. I'd still tease her, though.

To go ahead and be a little specific about the "during my pretending to turn her down" phase, I'd find it heartwarming to hear that, and I'd have an extremely hard time not laughing as I try (and probably fail) to stay straight-faced while I continue being a prick to her for fun. Of course, I'd still be a gentleman about making it up to her, letting her hit me if I pissed her off enough, or letting her have the lead when it came time for "fun".
