Funny thing about that fan art image, is that I can imagine the Lizardman in question holding a similar pose, except she doesn't have a weapon, but is using her own claws instead.

Back when she was a Lizardman, Alexandra preferred using her claws to fight. She still does, actually... Anyway, she almost got me with them several times back when I trained her for the tournament. It didn't help that I pissed her off by trying to cut off her clothes and grope her as part of my "train her without her knowing by making her mad at me" plan... I changed the plan after I realized my feelings for her, though.

I don't know if Newgate's comment on it was an actual translation of the Lizardman's quote in the pic, but I'm sure some of them do as stated in the profile with the "I'll only marry a man who can prove his worth by defeating me in battle!" thing, and I'm sure others are like, "I want you, so I challenge you to a duel. If I win, you're mine!"

I think I would confuse the hell out of her if we fought. Since I would be in my armor covering my face and my features she would think I was a Guy with a massive War Hammer until I defeated her in battle and took the hood off.

I think you would have to prove that the feat you performed with your guns was something that couldn't be easily done. Still, she might think that not fighting up close and personal with a melee weapon is cowardly.
