Insect-type monsters that have been around since ancient times. They like dark, damp places. Some live in caves, but most live in human homes (under the floor or in the attic) or in warehouses and similar places. They are about the size of a human girl, but are somehow able to live undetected even in small houses. It is suspected, though not confirmed, that they hide themselves with magic.

They have very little in the way of intelligence and cannot speak any language. Their actions are dictated by instinct and motivated by hunger and lust. As soon as one spots a human man, she will capture and mate with him.

This species lives in groups; where there's one, there can be as many as thirty. When a man is caught, the call goes out, and a mob of devil bugs will emerge to gang-rape their find. Once it begins, there's no escape for the man until he passes out or all his captors have had a turn with him.

The races seem to have little appreciation for the parent-child bond. A devil bug will not hesitate to rape her own father if the opportunity presents itself. If a community of devil bugs cannot locate a human man, they will resort to masturbation or having sex with their own kind.

Because they like the smell and taste of dirt and human sweat, they prefer to live in houses that are seldom cleaned - and they favor men who live in such places.
