Karbo's new manga has a Harpy character or two in it. They are really cool and very pretty. :nosebleed: :happyness:

Belletia the Harpy in the manga is large and yes she does eat people but not all of Karbos harpy species are giant.

(I hope you like her Feathers)

Huh...While Harpies aren't at the top of my list, I do find the species in general very cute. Got some potential in fic form, like with a guy who constantly sees this Harpy deliver stuff to people all around and wants to try and confess to her, with a rather humorous idea of her delivering herself to him so to speak as her way of confessing to him.

I support that idea ShadowBlade, it sounds like a cute/funny story. :D

Saw that one a few days ago, the guy didn't look to happy though. Her face looks slightly maniacal as well. I edited out the guy in my version though. >.>

Oh my...just take a look to her talons. They are awfully small and slim!.
She won´t be able to carry anything with them, which explains why
she is mating her catch on the spot.

Regards.

Harpies are very cute though. And they lay eggs for you to eat to.

They may also go hunting to bring some fresh meat or even fish to their lover/husband,
and later on to her young...

By the way, just imagine a situation in which a Harpy´s mate requests her to
bring him some fish for lunch, and then after a while she comes back carrying
a mermaid alive, holding the aquatic creature from the tail with her talons...
Wondering if a Harpy would be such "air-headed" or naive like that...

Regards.

The only thing I don't like about Harpies is that they tend to be a little flatchested.

You can not scape from the eagle´s eye...

Anyway, having both extra weight and wind opposing mass on her body may
make a Harpy relatively more clumsy and slower in flight. As such, during mating
seasons lighter flat harpies will always have an advantage over busty ones when
trying to get a mate. With time, evolution will dictate that these voluptuous harpies
are not fit for survival and will therefore become extinct. Perhaps this is why
all harpies are flat-chested so far.

Regards.

Happily this is not the case with the Felaryan Harpy. Probably because they tend to eat more.

If I was dating one within the first week I would install a roost for her around the house, give her a mirror and put newspaper under where she sits......oh yes...getting the crap scratched out of me one laugh at a time.
