But I thought you were a Snake?

I wonder if a Fat Harpy would be 70 pounds?

^//^ I am. I'm referring to something else when I call myself a unicorn. *ahem* You're a bright girl-you'll work it out.

I imagine a Felaryan harpy would weigh more than that.

Well, to fly, birds weigh less and have hollow bones, would it be the same for Harpies?

I believe they would weigh less and have lighter bones to help them fly, but it's mostly just speculation on my part..^^;

You might have to ask Elle or Papi about it Feathers.

We would have to find a harpy from KC's world to know for sure, and so far he's not releasing many actual named girls.. We do know that Papi is very (unusually) light because Okayado already made a hint that harpies are surprisingly light in one of his works. Thanks to KC abandoning harpies we never may know for sure, unless he realizes how popular Papi is and attempts to make a new harpy again. 8-)

Ahh the harpy how you have found ways elude your beauty away from me by flying off when I come to find you :hero:

It shows up for me just fine.

Speaking of Feathers, he hasn't really been on in the last month.

It's fine and all that she actually got a revamp after all this time forced to the ostracism...
...However I'll greatly miss her "hands" as they were literally the only thing that made her stand out among the whole flock that is the harpy family.

Nevertheless it's nice to see that she's not forgotten (even if she got maimed in the process) and I wonder if this revamp will be only visual or if it will expand the entry text somehow.

Great artwork on the rework in my opinion. No complaints.

I just, I don't like those wings. They are not going to lift anything off the ground because they will not create any pressure. They are more like ostrich wings, only there for show. Other than that she looks nice.

I kinda remember that particular matter popping up sometime in a not so distant past...

If you expect some sensible anatomical coherence then you just wound up in the wrong setting, after all we're talking about an artist that literally gave a land turtle's shell to a critter that was supposed to be based after a sea turtle... because it was the only way it could hide that massive bossom (the more I see Umi Osho the more it reminds me to Kancolle's Ushio, in both phyisque and personality) inside the shell, entries supposedly based/inspired on lions to some degree (like gryphons, manticores and sphynxes) have traits that look closer to a cat than a lion and so on and on and on...

If I were you I'd stop sweating the small stuff, believe me you'll be happier that way...^^U

Anyway... The translated revamped version is already posted in that other forum... Go check it out if you want.

Despite all the anatomical incoherences and the loss of her most notable trait hands down (no pun intended), it turned out to be quite a decent effort overall as the revamped design is relatively faithful to the original version and visually quite pleasant (as it managed to portray that cute yet sexy vibe that this kind of lasses should always have, man... those sure are some first class birthing hips <3).
Also it's worth mentioning that for once the revamped entry text actually manages to expand the entry's info, which should be considered oddly miraculous.

Overall... I gotta hand the man a "A for effort" this time around.
