It's currentally in beta, and being an avid player of it in the past (Read: When Base set 1-Neo2), I'm seriously considering checking this out. Any opinions out there about it?

I play it. You're going to need to get real boosters and decks though. They have codes in them. Otherwise you're stuck.

Its a double edge sword really. Fore while in the sngle player I was stuck with the Basic Red, Blue, and Green Decks. Now Imake use of Voltage Vortex. I say Pick a deck you like and get it. Or go after tins. Not only do you get a code for tin (1 card and 4 packs) each pack in the tin has a code.

Throw in the fact a friend of mine said he'd be able to get me codes for it, and he'd just go and resell the cards to recoup some money.

I don't think there's a deck for that. Pioson mostly falls under Psychic type in the TCG.

Weakness nd Resistance ahas been changed as well. Now some Pokemon dom't take double damage.

Good luck in the sngle player. There will be times where you'll get your ass handed to you and others where you get just what you need. It will be tough useing the basic decks but no worries.

I tried it. It worked about as smoothly as the rocky mountains. This was a while ago though. Perhaps when the beta is over.

Worked fine everytime I tried it. Do you mean loading or playing?

I hate multsting in a thread but this is to make an update. The online TCG has gone throught a major update. The one thing about this is that now you have to download something in order to play when you could play without needing to sownload anything. I have no clue why they hose to go this route but I think it sucks.
