Being a Ranger, I am looking forward to twin mechs. I'm hoping (and guessing it WILL be in PSO2) Guld Milla will make a return. I am also hoping the Baranz launcher will come back as well, as it was my favorite weapon in PSO. The special was Charge (used money to launch really powerful attacks). Song for Death was also pretty cool in PSU. Seeing the Double Saber weapons, I am also hoping for other classic PSO weapons, like the BKB, Meteor Cudgel, Vivienne etc. The Carriguine Rucar from PSU was also pretty sweet.

I am looking forward to the EN gversion of PSO 2, but for now, I have PSO 2 JP to help tide me over. At least I'll know what I'm doing when the game is released in english!

Ah, actually, Song for Death was the name of a Guitar-shaped Grenade launcher in PSU. It didn't really do anything, other than launch a Star-shaped grenade trailed by a rainbow while using a guitar strumming sound effect. If you like Song/Music related skills and stuff, I suggest mabinogi. Good game, but horrible publisher. If you've played Mabinogi Heros (Vindictus), I'm sure you've already run into Nexon's legendary game-breaking updates/patches, mass bans for no reason, bad customer support etc.

Again, Song for Death was just a guitar shaped launcher in PSU, but it was a Kubara product, so if you grind it to +10, its a really tough weapon!

Ah, Nexon... Highly popular, has outstanding games, but the patches...
Idk about bad customer support. I always had great customer support when I needed it, mass bans? Never heard of any occasion. But if there wasn't a patch that didn't break something in mabi (music composition) it would be a cold day in hell. Though, Nexon NA set Vin straight with the last update, so no worries. Least, until NA gets season 2 then we will just have wait and see what else breaks. Great events though as well.

On topic, yes highly enjoy the fact that double sabers continue their appearance esp with the new abilites; though, I was never a personal fan of all the "comical" weapons, because they are comical.. lol. As for the twin smg, yes; on all accounts, yes...

Btw, your partner card is still using the tuna blade tweak.

Alright so sorry for neglecting this for God knows how long, from now I'll start updating the front page with the usual game informationa and if you guys want even include a player list for all of you.

Also my ID is of course Aekrid, Char name Valeoth, Ship 4, Block 44. It was the new designated English player hub by the PSO2 fans after the channel changes and from what i know a lot of 4chan VG guys are there though a lot of stopped playing altogether so don't expect any shenanigans.

Four months.

I am still on ship 2 block 20. :L
Along with Raze, tomo, tweak, neruko winkei, girod, etc.

It is more or less the multilingual ship now. both nationalities share block 20 rather frequently. If you ask me, it is much better that most of the english players changed blocks. You know.. the annoying spammers who danced in the middle of the Arks lobby...

Just 3 more months and I'm DEFINITELY going to play this game again. I liked it A LOT, just tired of updating the translations and the patching issues that I had. The game is fantastic though, one of the best MMOs I've played in years (though it has nothing on Guild Wars 2 in my opinion).

Wow... thanks for rubbing it in... :blooddeath:

Ya, B44 has its share of japanese as well though I just tend not to speak when I get paired up with them due to the "event" that happened some time ago. I'm sure you've heard of the NPCs being moved around by a hacker, and maybe you did or didn't know the huge backlash by JP players afterwards blaming the whole fiasco on the invading English players. I've done some snooping and found that if they could mess with the code to the point where they could switch NPCs around or even move them out of bounds they could have done A LOT worse if they can get that far into the system.

Just so you know the triangle dancers pretty much did it for shits and giggles sake and some i think as a nostalgia trip for the old PS games though i didn't expect the whole community to lash out at something as stupid as videos of synchronized dance mobs

Guess I'll make a new character on ship 2 then, I'm a CAST on Ship 4. Guess I'll go human this time around.

Wow I didn't know about all the hacking going on, that's bad. Course Rezeed did tell me that the first game was hacked a lot as well. Is it really worth making a character on the JP server though Aekrid? Since I assume we will all eventually be playing on the English server in January? I saved PSO2 on my HDD for the case that it may be a global game and that I may be able to keep my character. Still waiting for on info on that though. I definitely don't want to level a character at the risk of being deleted for hacking (translating) or if I have to abandon it though. I also sure hope they keep the original voice over work, it's great. Course voice swaps may be possible just like I did in Granada Espada..(SOWTN).

Probably just so you can play early, thats really the whole reason of JP servers having Eng players. I really doubt the JP guys would be willing to help move our Eng characters over to the International or american servers even though we don't support their micro transaction, though i know some players did. All i REALLY want is my GOD DAMNED DRAGON HEAD THAT I HAVE HANGING IN MY ROOM!!

Yep, though the chances seem AWFULLY slim though.

P.S.
Sev if you want to, you can send me some info, whether complete sentences or not, that i can post on the front page/first post to better help other people get interested since you seem a helluva a lot more knowledgeable in PSO2 then me and most likely a lot farther in.

Well once again I haven't played anything since the last time I commented about it around a month ago. Too much to do.
And I haven't recieved any more updates from SEGA of jp recently. Seems that they are calming down and holding back for the international releases.

Still pumped and waiting eagerly for this game. The wiki now says it will be released "early 2013", anyone know when exactly? What about that new class? I don't see it in the ENG roster. :(

1.) February

2.) They may or may not have the EXACT same content cycle as japan did. Meaning you won't see new classes and subclasses, or the mega boss Dark-Fal until months after. Maybe...

Hmm... Thinking about this game now. As if I needed another online game to play! :XD: Anywho, is there a subscription fee? That's what's going to sell me on this. Ooh! And how's it hold up? Just as good as Portable 2 I hope?

Also, planning on running my usual HunterCast with the large frame. Nothing says Oh shit quite like a mini mecha version of myself beating you to death with an oversized laser sword!

Combine PSU and PSO1 and there you go.

PSO2 release delayed again. :(

"We don't have any specifics, but will update everyone as soon as there are more details to share," said a SEGA representative when asked about the delay.

Hopefully this just means they are waiting to give us all of the new content instead of old stuff.

I give up waiting for a US version, I don't think it's EVER coming out. Also, getting this game going is a huge chore..I forgot how nightmarish the Japanese catcha was to solve. !_! I rather play this than spend money on FF14 which has too many annoying problems to deal with, plus it's free.

If anyone manages to get inside this game, let me know if you wana try it out together (as in level up together).
