Well, I'll be honest. You guys didn't miss a good time. It was a very buggy Beta indeed. Crashed every 5 minutes. ^^; Lots of rage folk in the game chat (white knights vs critics) For a less than 3 month release game, I worry for the game's future after trying it though. 
The word "BETA" is the normally response, so these last 3 months of wait must have a ton of things planned.

I just received an email for a beta key for friends, upon giving the key to one of them while still not having the game, my friend sent me a key, so I can play!
