I wanted to vary the age range, but it is usually vampires, dragons, succubi, angels, elves, dwarfs, giants, zenko, etc... That in mythology and fable have the longest lives. Lamia and reptilian mamonme typically would be longer lived, while mice typically have shorter lives, which is why c'try mice were amongst the shorter lived. In general undead would be ageless or immortal.

There are items that can increase lifespans that I am looking into, as well as the increase in medical technology which would extend lives even further.

I don't think a human daughter would gain an inferiority complex unless she was having trouble finding a partner later on. A mamonme will focus on what her adopted daughter is good at, to make her feel confident about that, possibly distracting her from these abilities a bit. Human women typically view mamonme as sluts, etc.. mostly because mamonme are not ashamed of sex and are brazenly forward. This is however unfair because while mamonme are not ashamed of sex, they typically only give it to someone who is compatible with them . Skin to skin contact between a mamonme and a human man is like a pair bonding activity, which is why they take it so badly if they manage skin to skin contact, but get rejected. It is also the reason why they will plead for the right to at least share a man if they have already made this contact.

Some might dote a little too much on their children male/female/mamonme. lol.

2017/06/15 Added the Pirate Code... It's obvious who inspired this! I saw it on Today I found out. Please let me know if you see anything that might need amending. This is based on Ching Shi the greatest female pirate ever, hence the laws are similar.

Look it up in Glossary of Terms on page 1
