Finally caught up, lots of fascinating stuff and the history in the side story was a nice change of pace. Curious though where the stuff with the alraune will go, since it is shaping up to appear as if she wants to keep him as a mate. Its still a shame you don't get more feedback, I still think uploading to literotica would get you more comments if you want them.

One bit of contradiction you may want to take care of though, in "Daggersford Ambush" Brack says he has seen one of each regarding elves and dwarves, yet in the side story Brack says he has only heard of people trading with dwarves, never seen them, and was until Lilis' story unsure if elves existed.

I gotta say, I get that our lead is curious and rather accepting of becoming prey at times, but why did he not seem to even briefly consider just staying inside the inn?

The modern day side story was interesting, especially given it had a romance angle or at least seemed to. Would be neat to see a continuation that explained how succubi in this setting go about having a servant that they love in terms of wanting as a partner. Obviously you are not going for strict monogamy.

Indeed, she is a 'Greater Demon', more powerful than your typical Succubus. Her Keep also has much greater concentrations of passive charm, as you no doubt saw, but it is not as strong as it could be, because Brack isn't a super strong-willed man. Maybe a bit more than normal, but not some Iron-Willed paladin; if a Succubus wants him, he stands no chance.

So him resisting as well as he did isn't totally unreasonable. It's just very, very uncomfortable.

Well certainly, even KC's lilim still have to make an effort (small as an effort as it may be) to tempt a man into sex with them (otherwise the man is still consumed by lust like Brack but not in a state where he's going to try to rush her or anything), they just don't have to use any force.

Suitably overpowering. It does seem like Brack has been drained more times and more fully than he's had time to recuperate though. Am I missing references to the means by which he is getting back enough energy to provide a decent meal so soon? It seems like he hasn't had more than a few hours of rest since he got to that realm, though I may be forgetting just what the rules are in your setting for how quickly a human can recover from a succubus feeding.
