First congratulations on the arachne story, the sex scene was top notch, especially once she started riding him. My one criticism would be that it gets kind of unbelievable how little Brack speaks when he should be able to and has reason to. Like in this case he said very little to this arachne, not trying to reason with her or anything, apparently just watching even as she paused for some time to remove the silk from his member. It'd be different if he was currently paralyzed, in the throes of ecstasy or charmed but he wasn't, he was just silent for no apparent reason. I thought perhaps he was gagged but she starts kissing him later so apparently not, and he does briefly demand release at one point.

And very happy to see an example of one of your succubi married to a human. It does make me curious though how that works, as my impression from your series up until now is that it would be very difficult or even impossible for a single human to provide your story's succubi enough energy for all their needs and hence they have to feed on a number of men over time to sustain themselves, and indeed more powerful ones need even more consorts than normal (otherwise it'd be more convenient for the average succubus to just claim a man for herself rather than relying on places like where Brack works). Likewise comes the question of how your succubi socially regard marriage with a human, marriage in general, how common it is, etc.

For the first one, I'd just chalk that up to Brack starting to consider that talk might not be all that useful with these creatures; they don't tend to listen at the best of times.

For the second, that's quite a valid question. I intend to answer it later, but you would be right in that a single human is not enough to sustain a succubus. Most cubi don't require much, one human on the regular and random prey at slightly lesser intervals, or maybe a bit more to keep a human from being too exhausted at times for their normal life, which would be important for a farmer like Carrus. So it presents its own unique circumstances. As you can guess, marriage is likely not all that big of a thing in Cubus Circles, but love is still something they can feel. It's love and compassion that helped the Protestants take power during the purge.

Ya know, its been a while coming now - and after reading through the world you have crafted on this board it is quite refreshing. The method of character placement and details allow any person to visualize the scene at hand - and that takes true talent. I wanted to make this comment sooner but with the personal issues (and now my third hurricane coming soon) I have not had the time.

Let's just say that your story is an oasis for my mind in these stressful times.
Perhaps not only myself, but others as well who have enjoyed your world and have failed to show you their interest.

To put simply; I wanna read more, and don't go thinking that because people don't comment they aren't enjoying the masterpiece you have slowly been crafting.
