So, if anyone's looked at the "random video" thing, one will see a few trailers for a series called "RWBY" by Rooster Teeth, the folks who brought you Red vs. Blue. Well, the first episode has finally released to the public. I'll try to avoid spoilers for the most part.

1: AWESOME music.
2: A pretty kicking intro.
3: Ruby is adorable.
4: Has some interesting foreshadowing going on.
5: Finally, seems to have a bit of a Final Fantasy 8 vibe going for it, but in the good way.

Wow, that was pretty good! Although I'm not really sure exactly whats going on yet. Dust power, grim army, Ruby Rose the Scyther, fighting academy, etc. Reminds me of Soul Eater. Great fight scenes, voices and animations though. ^^ Liking the ending theme as well.

Ah okay I misread it and thought you said this was continued from something else. And yep, I agree that a series based show can't have an epic plot in 12 minutes. ^_^

So I watched episodes one & two, and I must say that this is awesome. It's very anime-esque (Which isn't a bad thing) and it caught my attention enough, so I'm waiting on the next episode by this point.

I really hope Monty handles this better than Dead Fantasy. That story was getting ridiculous for a series that was originally just about cool fighting.

Well, 8 episodes in... and I think it's starting to find it's footing. And you can tell what kind of episode it'll be by it's length: If it's shorter, it can be a little more comedic, longer ones will be the more action-oriented ones.
