Habitat: Near the ocean
Disposition: Cheerful
Diet: Omnivorous, fruits, fish, etc.
A type of harpy with a beautiful singing voice that absolutely loves singing. Her songs are infused with a lot of magical energy, and men who hear them become entranced by it and end up moving in the direction that they hear the song coming from. Most sirens live near the ocean, and due to this many ships have disappeared mid-voyage, never to return, after the men aboard were lured by their songs. Thus sailors are very fearful of them.
They choose their prey from among the men who were drawn to them by their songs, but in this case, they aren't the only threats. Most of the time, all kinds of monsters who are after the lured men are lurking nearby. Once the songs have ended, the men who were entranced by the songs will be attacked all at once, and will probably end up being taken away.
Normally, all they do is sing all the time, but when they come into heat, they sing even more frequently. There's no doubt about it, because more and more ships disappear mid-voyage during these periods than at other times. Sirens with husbands keep singing “the special song” to their husbands, so their sex lives stay healthy and active.
This siren is a long time favorite because the description sticks very close to the original myth about sirens. Her look also gives a cute yet mischievous impression, which makes her quite appealing to me. She is the only monster girl encyclopedia entry that I could probably write about, although I'd probably change a few things from the settings to better suit my tastes.
I assume she can't "snatch" like regular harpies and relies totally on luring guys in with her singing. Her mini skirt and overall appearance gives the impression of a Japanese idol. If one of them lived in Zipangu (where humans and monsters co-exist), I could imagine her being quite popular as entertainers and would have many guys fighting over her.
I would imagine them to be (harmlessly) naughty, lovers of song, and a bit playful (based on her appearance). Since their primary diet isn't listed as spirit energy, it gave me more things to consider, like her favorite meals to cook and how she would look while catching fish.
She does look cheerful...I imagine that pose is the "Te-he =P" pose that's always done by cutesy characters in anime.
I thought that love had given up on me...but while I was here, I found that love had different shapes and was in different places. I experienced so many types of love. After traveling this world, I can say this for certain: I love monster girls! --Shuu from To the World of MGE
All I know is, the moans she probly produces durin' the dirty probly has some kinda numbingly pleasurable effect.
You know what the problem is with motivational speakers? They speak to much. Nowadays, the analogy "actions speak louder than words" is regarded so much as the norm that whenever motivational speakers do what they came for, nearly every person making up their audience couldn't really give any less of a flyin' fuck.
She gives the air of someone who actually HAS seen a bit'o anime in her day an' is adapting it to her performances.

No way bro. The battle would go on for-frickin-ever and by then everyone who isn't neck-deep in a trance from their cacophony would just stop listening entirely.

Dunno about me. She completely gives off the perfect standard of "in-girl" that's a staple with most, if not all, educational facilities. Never liked'em much at all.

There's plenty of Sirens in the sky, I met an amazing one a couple years ago and we've been together ever since. <3
Seriously though, her star wink and cute pose in her artwork made me love this entry more than any other. The profile left a lot of things open too, and that's another reason I liked this profile.
More or less there, Hot. I also can't shake this feeling that being with one would eventually lead to her asking the guy to try an' sing with'er an'.......I completely suck bawlz at singin'.

I really like the Siren (my favorite harpy type MG) she's like a natural born pop idol of course after the first few lines of lyrics all the male fans would be 'unbroadcast able' and you would need a fence to protect the Siren from her lust crazed fans lol. Anyway do you think she can use her voice as a weapon like kuno (episode 12) from sekirei?

Yeah, definitely his best work here. ^_^ The Harpy is rather old and his skills weren't as good back then. His old style has more of an innocence feel to it think though. Still, I love the siren most.
