Good point, her chest is a turn off in general (for me), in this one's opinion. Then again I'm picky with breasts in general, especially if they are too flat (as a board) or too distractingly large. I like the wing's (and overall) color palette though.Helios Leinheart wrote:Booby tassles. Nothing turns me off more.

I agree.Kaijin wrote:Minotaur was originally male...Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't minotuars male? I don't really see this as unneeded to be honest.
But the situation is vastly different IMHO, it's not the same to genderswap a maze roaming monster... than genderswap a friggin' god.
Even if the situation happens to be the same... it feels more... gear grinding.
...Not to mention than in a mythology so fascinating, rich and full of gorgeous goddesses the first thing that comes into mind is ignore them alltogether and pull of a Midnight Bliss on a god. ^^U
.P.S.: But then again this is my personal opinion, so feel free to disagree or debate it as long it's in a civil manner and always having the site's ruleset into consideration.
In the Minotaurs case, they were always male, so there was no other option than to genderswap them (LOL, Midnight Bliss ). However, in the Gandharvas case, they are explicitly referred to as the ''Male versions'', with the Apsaras being their respective females (and often referred to as their wives).
So, it's more a case of perfectly usable mythological accuracy gone to waste. (Unless KK happens to pull the Apsaras afterwards, and perhaps make them the first MGs who are into other MGs. If that was the case, I'd be totally OK with it, heh.)

Re: Gandharva
Gandharvas were more horse/bird based creatures and Apsaras are more of water nymphs of Hindu mythology. Apsaras also had more to deal with dancing and Gandharvas are more of singers and musicians.

Thanks for the heads up. The translated profile is now on the first post.
I thought that love had given up on me...but while I was here, I found that love had different shapes and was in different places. I experienced so many types of love. After traveling this world, I can say this for certain: I love monster girls! --Shuu from To the World of MGE

Re: Gandharva
A master musician and peacemaker who uses her music to turn absolute hate into love, and stop wars that way? I think I like this one.
I'll admit, the fragrance thing is a little weird, but she doesn't seem bad at all. I especially like the fact that she's musical. As a musician with a passion for it myself, I think I would get along well with this one.

Let's be honest.
Too much hate and intolerance everywhere.

Not the sort that leads to mass deadly violence though (the sort of violence which in many parts of the world is on the decline).Flare wrote:Let's be honest.

I am curious though if this was a special gandharva or group of gandharva, since them ending a war seems to have been a specific historical event rather than something they are normally able to do.

This one definitely is... peculiar.
A genderbent Hindu deity...
...that acts as a herald for a Greek genderbent deity...
...who's also a harpy whose body build clearly defies the laws of aerodynamics...
...who also has a strong smell fetish...
...who is in charge of protecting women's maidenhoods...
...by pushing them into doing it...
Someone went a little too overboard with originality points this time around...
...oh well, at least she has some solid points though.
Her design (if we overlook the fact than an emu has more chances to fly than her) is quite nice (red hair + green eyes = <3) and has interesting twist of the "make love not war" philosophy.

Re: Gandharva
Well, this one is kinda nice. Sounds very huggable if you ask me.
Not like a humanoid shape is all that aerodynamic to begin with, and even without her nice rack she'd probably be incapable of flight if we were to apply real life logic. So, personally, I'll take the big boobies over the more "aerodynamic" flat chest.Kaijin wrote:...who's also a harpy whose body build clearly defies the laws of aerodynamics...
